Ukrainian Refugee Support | Koinonia 29

As the war in Ukraine persists, thousands of Ukrainians are fleeing their homes to find safety. Most of these travellers are women and children.

We are opening up our homes in Romania to anyone in need of food and/or shelter.

If you would like to support this cause, your donation would help provide meals, clothing, medicine, and utility costs.

What are we doing?

Ukraine is at war with Russia.

Regardless of your opinion on this geopolitical issue, the fact remains there are thousands of refugees fleeing the warzone. Most of these refugees are women and children with no place to go.

 

Those who have left the country have left their entire livelihoods behind. Some have left the country with only the clothes on their backs.

 

Because God has put us in Romania, we have the unique opportunity to house, feed, and care for these refugees.

 

The members of Koinonia 29 have already opened their homes to share whatever they have.

As we do not know how long this war will last, we do not know how long our guests will stay with us.
We would like to invite you to help feed, clothe, shelter, and care for these people.

 

Please consider helping us care for the people of Ukraine.

 

Funding will be handled by our Church’s Deacons and Elders, and help cover the cost of food, clothing, utilities, medicine, and various other necessities.
